Operations & Project Management

• Oversee daily scheduling, routing, and execution of irrigation service and repair work
• Manage seasonal services, including system startups, winterizations, and backflow testing
• Lead troubleshooting and repairs of complex irrigation issues on commercial properties
• Supervise or support lighting system installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Ensure all work meets contract requirements and quality standards
   

Financial, Pricing & Resource Management

• Develop and manage department budgets
• Prepare estimates and proposals for irrigation, repairs, and upgrades
• Collaborate with sales teams to price jobs accurately, ensuring profitability and competitiveness
• Track labor hours, material costs, and job profitability
• Oversee procurement of irrigation, supplies, and equipment
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality
  
   

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of commercial irrigation systems (installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting)
• Experience with commercial landscape lighting systems is highly preferred
• Experience preparing detailed job pricing, estimates, and proposals
• Familiarity with smart controllers, flow sensors, and water-efficient technology
• Budgeting and job costing expertise
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Leadership and people management abilities
