Role Overview: 

A VC-backed SaaS startup with $1M seed funding is looking for a Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems for AI-powered products. Role Responsibilities:

•  Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. 
• Optimize database performance and write efficient SQL queries. 
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments. 
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for hosting and scaling services. 
• Ensure system reliability through observability practices (logging, monitoring, alerting). 
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver seamless experiences. 

Role Requirements :

•  2+ years of experience in backend development. 
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Java. 
• Solid understanding of OS fundamentals and networking concepts. 
• Experience with AWS/Azure and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring). 
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows. 
• Strong focus on writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
