About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst or Data Scientist with strong expertise in Python and SQL to join our client’s team. The primary responsibility will be to automate data-driven workflows and processes based on detailed business steps provided by the Product and Business teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between analytics, process understanding, and automation execution.
Key Responsibilities
● Collaborate with the Business and Product teams to understand step-by-step process requirements.
● Translate business workflows into automated data pipelines and scripts using Python and SQL.
● Design and implement scalable ETL processes and automation frameworks.
● Validate and test automated workflows to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
● Build and maintain reusable data transformation modules and utility functions.
● Monitor automation performance and proactively identify areas of improvement.
● Document all workflows and automation logic for business and technical teams.
● Support the integration of automation outputs with visualization tools or downstream systems.
Required Skills and Experience
● 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer.
● Proven expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, etc.) and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake).
● Experience in workflow automation, data pipeline design, and process scripting.
● Strong understanding of data wrangling, transformation, and validation techniques.
● Hands-on experience with APIs, automation frameworks, or scheduling tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, or Cron).
● Ability to interpret business logic and translate it into technical implementation.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
