**Important: Candidates must reside in either Chennai or Bangalore. This role is expected to work US business hours. As this role is remote to start,  may become 1-2 days in the office over time to build community and accelerate growth.**


About the Role

The BDR Team Lead role at Netchex is a rare opportunity to do two things at once: keep your hands in the game as a top-performing outbound contributor and step into a leadership position where you shape the development of BDRs under your direct oversight. We’re looking for someone who has already proven they can run high-velocity top-of-funnel prospecting into the US market, and is ready to bring others along with them.

As BDR Team Lead, you’ll prospect and qualify new customers and channel partners for Netchex while coaching your team to do the same. We’re building a team that demands a winning attitude, a high sense of urgency, and a real passion for sales. 

What you will do 

Team Leadership & Coaching 

  • Directly oversee and develop BDRs, setting expectations, running 1:1s, and coaching on call technique, messaging, and pipeline discipline
  •  Review and score call recordings and outreach sequences; give structured, real-time feedback that raises team performance
  • Partner with BDR Management to set individual and team quotas, track attainment, and flag blockers early
  • Create ways to ramp faster by sharing playbooks, best practices, and lessons learned
  • Model the behaviors you coach — your team learns more from watching you work than from any training document
  • Collaborate with BDR Leader and teams in US to build lead-gen and cold outreach strategies, execute them, and iterate based on results

Outbound Execution

  • Carry your own quota: prospect and qualify new customers and channel partners via phone, email, and social
  • Become a product expert across the entire Netchex platform and know the competitor landscape cold
  • Keep the CRM clean and current on every lead, follow-up, and activity
     

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2- 3years of experience as an Outbound BDR selling SaaS software specifically to US buyers. This is a requirement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, or informally coach peers; prior team lead or senior BDR experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent spoken and written English. You will be on the phone with US prospects every day, not just emailing, so phone-grade fluency and a clear, confident speaking voice are essential 
  • Adaptable and agile, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with an ever-evolving product 
  • Tech savvy, with hands-on experience using CRM and prospecting tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Nooks, and Outreach for lead management, pipeline tracking, and outbound 
  • Results driven, goal-oriented, and relentless about hitting and beating quota 
  • Strong, nice-to-have: Experience at Rippling or another HCM, payroll, or HR-tech company
