Summary of the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who takes pride in building high‑quality software and enjoys tackling complex, meaningful problems. This role  ideal for a deeply experienced engineer who wants significant ownership, strong technical influence, and the ability to mentor others — without formal team leadership responsibilities.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be a technical thought partner to Product and Engineering leadership, help shape solutions and architecture, and raise the quality bar across the codebase through example, guidance, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain high‑quality, scalable software using C# and .NET
  • Own complex features and systems end‑to‑end, from design and implementation through delivery and iteration
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Tech Leads to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to engineers, helping elevate code quality and engineering practices
  • Participate in code reviews with a focus on maintainability, performance, and clean architecture
  • Advocate for engineering best practices and help uphold high standards across the team
  • Challenge assumptions and propose better technical solutions when appropriate
  • Contribute to incident response, debugging, and continuous improvement of system reliability
  • Support team growth by participating in technical interviews and knowledge sharing

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem
  • Proven experience owning and delivering complex software systems
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction without formal authority
  • A customer‑first mindset — you care about outcomes, not just implementations
  • Comfortable collaborating with Product and Engineering leadership to solve ambiguous problems
  • Ability to work effectively with a distributed team, with reliable overlap during 9 AM – 2 PM US Central Time
  • Strong engineering fundamentals, whether through formal education or a self‑taught path driven by real‑world experience
