NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking an experienced Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in Milwaukee. This full-time, on-site position offers an outstanding opportunity to shape the menu and culinary direction in our casual dining restaurant group.

In this role, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation, while maintaining a vibrant and collaborative kitchen culture. We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $80,000 annually, along with benefits that support work-life balance and career development in the ever-evolving restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Create and update menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients
  • Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with the management team to optimize operational performance
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Develop and implement cost control measures to enhance profitability
  • Stay current with culinary trends and foster innovation within the team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a chef in a casual dining or similar environment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive a team towards success
  • Strong culinary knowledge with a focus on various cuisines
  • Experience with menu development and cost control
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
