Executive Chef at our renowned Waterfront Restaurant and Special Events
Venue located in the beautiful Marina del Rey. This full-time, on-site
position offers a unique opportunity for a passionate culinary leader to
craft exquisite dining experiences that delight our guests and elevate
our brand.
As the Executive Chef, you will lead our kitchen team in creating innovative
menus, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation,
and managing the culinary operations of our venue. Your role will be crucial
in maintaining our reputation for excellence in both everyday dining and
special events, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant and
event offerings. We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of
$90,000 - $100,000 annually, along with a vibrant work environment that
fosters creativity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to uphold our high culinary standards
- Collaborate with event coordinators to create tailored dining experiences for special events
- Maintain health and safety regulations within the kitchen
- Monitor food costs and labor to maximize profitability
- Innovate and introduce new cooking techniques and presentation styles
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to create and design menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs
- Experience with food cost management and budgeting
