NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking a General Manager for our upscale restaurant and special events venue located in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-notch customer service, and drive the venue's strategic growth. Your leadership will play a crucial role in enhancing our reputation within the competitive restaurant industry, focusing on excellence in both culinary offerings and event management. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 annually, alongside a dynamic work environment where creativity and innovation thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall operations of the restaurant and events venue
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of staff
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and satisfaction
  • Oversee budget management and financial performance
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote the venue
  • Coordinate special events, including weddings and corporate functions
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Foster a positive work culture and team collaboration
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • High volume GM experience managing operations north of $12M annually
  • Experience with managing venues with high volume special events and catering operations
  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in upscale venues
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
