NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to join our team at Scratch Kitchen in Lawrenceville. This full-time, on-site position offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our restaurant operations and enhance the dining experience for our guests.

As the Restaurant Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional service quality. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager to implement strategies that drive sales, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain our high standards in the fast-paced restaurant industry.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually, along with benefits that support your career growth and well-being within our vibrant team culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
• Ensure high-quality food and service standards are met
• Manage and train staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively
• Support marketing initiatives to boost restaurant visibility and sales
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and expectations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar role in the restaurant industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement strategies
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management is a plus
