Position Overview
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll support the overall operation of the restaurant by helping lead shifts, coach team members, and ensure consistent execution across service, hospitality, and cleanliness. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to help maintain high standards while contributing to a positive and people-focused culture.
Key Areas of Focus
Team Leadership
- Support the training, coaching, and development of hourly team members
- Help create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
- Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, and hospitality
- Reinforce accountability and encourage strong communication across the team
Daily Operations
- Assist with managing daily front-of-house and overall restaurant operations
- Help ensure smooth service, strong shift execution, and a clean, organized environment
- Support restaurant readiness, shift transitions, and overall operational flow
- Jump in where needed to help the team succeed during busy service periods
Guest Experience
- Help deliver a warm, welcoming, and consistent guest experience
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset
- Support service standards that reflect a culture of genuine hospitality
- Stay engaged on the floor and visible to both guests and team members
Performance and Standards
- Support scheduling, labor awareness, and shift productivity
- Help monitor restaurant standards related to cleanliness, service, and safety
- Assist in maintaining compliance with health, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Help drive strong execution through organization, follow-up, and attention to detail
Growth and Development
- Encourage a culture of learning, support, and continuous improvement
- Help team members build confidence and improve performance
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for stronger execution and development

Qualifications
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a full-service casual dining restaurant
- Experience in a restaurant management, shift lead, or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of guest service, restaurant operations, and team leadership
- Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
