NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our upscale dining team in Omaha. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a vibrant and fast-paced environment, working alongside a team of passionate food enthusiasts dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

As a Sous Chef, you will assist in managing the kitchen operations, while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will play a vital role in menu creation and execution, working closely with the Executive Chef to create innovative dishes that delight our guests. This role is crucial for maintaining our reputation for excellence in the restaurant industry.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, along with a dynamic work atmosphere and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing kitchen operations and staff
  • Support the Executive Chef in menu development and execution
  • Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes
  • Maintain inventory and ensure proper food storage techniques
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold service standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in an upscale dining environment
