What you'll be responsible for:
The selected candidate for the Corporate Development Consultant role will lead strategic growth initiatives, evaluate and execute M&A transactions, and build partnerships that accelerate the company's market position. You will translate corporate strategy into actionable deals and alliances. You will:
- Lead end-to-end M&A processes (target identification, financial modelling, due diligence, valuation analysis, deal structuring, and integration planning)
- Build sophisticated financial models to evaluate acquisition targets, partnership opportunities, and strategic investments across the healthcare technology landscape
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify white space opportunities and assess the strategic fit of potential transactions
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and refine corporate strategy, evaluating build vs. buy decisions, market entry strategies, and portfolio optimization
- Manage relationships with external advisors (investment banks, legal counsel, consultants) and coordinate cross-functional deal teams
- Lead due diligence workstreams covering financial, commercial, operational, and technical assessments of target companies
You'll be a strong match if you have:
- 3-5+ years in consulting (MBB, Big 4, or boutique firms) with exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or technology sectors
- Experience in corporate development, M&A advisory, investment banking, or private equity with deal execution experience
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, i.e., you build DCF models, perform comparable company analysis, and assess deal economics
- The ability to manage complex, ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with strategic thinking, i.e., you can zoom in on details and zoom out to see the bigger picture
- Executive presence and communication skills, i.e., you can present deal recommendations to C-suite leaders and boards
