We are looking for a visionary, hands-on builder to join us as a Senior Cloud Engineer and help shape the journey for our clients.

Position Overview:

This isn't just another developer role; this is a chance to be a Senior Cloud Engineer for a company to develop from the ground up. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and skilled back end developer to work in our back end team. You will have unparalleled impact, making critical decisions and writing the code that will form the backbone of our web and mobile applications and back-end services. You will work independently, translating vision and requirements into robust, scalable software. A key part of our strategy is using AI tools to accelerate our development, and you will be central to implementing and championing this modern approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage a secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Azure/AWS using Infrastructure as Code first mindset.
• Security First: Implement and enforce rigorous security best practices across the entire cloud. You will be the owner of data privacy, threat modeling, and protection against vulnerabilities.
• Database & Data Management: Design, implement, and optimize our database schemas (both SQL and NoSQL) for high performance, scalability, and integrity.
• Foundational Leadership: As a cloud engineer, you will be instrumental in defining our secure, scalable and private cloud setup and provide leadership guidance and direction.

Experience: While we value degrees, your portfolio and practical experience are what matter most for this level of autonomy.

• 5-7 years of experience in cloud development and it’s technologies
• A demonstrated history of building and shipping complex cloud.
• A demonstrated history of setting up cloud landing zone

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience in writing Terraform scripts for Azure/AWS services (VNet, Subnet, Compute services, Database services, Storage services, Secret services, etc).
• Well Architected Framework Mindset: Understanding of cloud principles (security, scalable, resilient) and applying those principles in development of Terraform code.
• Logging and Monitoring: Setup of cloud logging and monitoring for all cloud services.
• Network and Security: Understanding of Virtual Networks, subnets and a solid understanding of how to set up networking on cloud from scratch.
• AI Tooling: Ability to use and work with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) in a professional setup.
• DevOps: Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub actions, Jenkins for deployment of infrastructure in Azure
