We are looking for a visionary, hands-on builder to join us as a back-end engineer and help shape our products for our clients.

Position Overview:

This isn't just another developer role; this is a chance to be a Back-end Engineer for a company to develop from the ground up. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and skilled back end developer to work in our back end team. You will have unparalleled impact, making critical decisions and writing the code that will form the backend of our web and mobile platforms. You will work independently, translating vision and requirements into robust, scalable software. A key part of our strategy is using AI tools to accelerate our development, and you will be central to implementing and championing this modern approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Architecture & Development: Architect, build, and scale our core backend services using microservices architecture, RESTful APIs using Node.js and/or Python

Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage a secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Azure.

Security First: Implement and enforce rigorous security best practices across the entire backend. You will be the owner of data privacy, threat modeling, and protection against vulnerabilities.

Database & Data Management: Design, implement, and optimize our database schemas (both SQL and NoSQL) for high performance, scalability, and integrity.

Foundational Leadership: As a back-end engineer, you will be instrumental in defining our engineering culture, DevOps practices (CI/CD), and long-term technical roadmap.

Experience: While we value degrees, your portfolio and practical experience are what matter most for this level of autonomy.

3-5 years of experience in back end development and it’s technologies

A demonstrated history of building and shipping complex backend.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Back-end Technologies: Hands-on experience in NodeJS, typescript, REST APIs and Databases

Cloud Proficiency: Extensive, hands-on experience with Azure is non-negotiable. This includes deploying services on Azure using CI/CD pipelines built in Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is a must.

Security Mindset: Understanding of backend security principles, including authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT), encryption, secure coding practices, and infrastructure security.

API Design: Proficiency in designing, building, and documenting secure and scalable RESTful APIs.

AI Tooling: Ability to use and work with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) in a professional setup.

Databases: Solid experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases on cloud.

DevOps: Experience building CI/CD pipelines for deployment of back-end applications in cloud
