Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst (QC Chemist) to join our pharmaceutical laboratory team. In this role, you will perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet quality standards. This position requires hands-on work with analytical instruments and following GMP and laboratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Titration, FTIR, and other wet chemistry methods.
- Test raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
- Record and maintain accurate laboratory documentation and test results.
- Analyze data and report results clearly and accurately.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Follow GMP guidelines, laboratory procedures, and safety practices.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Review laboratory data and support documentation as needed.
- Support the team with additional laboratory tasks when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another scientific field
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a laboratory environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing lab work.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5 years of laboratory or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience with HPLC, GC, or analytical testing
- Experience working in a GMP regulated laboratory environment.
