🎯 Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about product quality and user experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that Recooty’s web application is stable, reliable, and bug-free before every release.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and customer success teams to identify issues early and improve overall product quality.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements, workflows, and user scenarios
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, sanity, smoke)
• Test web applications, APIs, and integrations
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA / GitHub Issues
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing before releases
• Ensure high-quality releases across browsers and devices
• Actively participate in sprint planning and release cycles
• Suggest improvements in product usability and testing processes

🤖 Automation (Good to Have)

• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (Playwright / Selenium / Cypress)
• Ability to automate repetitive regression test cases
• Understanding of CI/CD testing pipelines is a plus

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in Manual QA / Software Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
• Experience testing SaaS / web-based applications
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership

• Experience in HR Tech / ATS products
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Exposure to performance or security testing
• Experience working in a startup environment
