 This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to work within the field of anesthesiology, specifically in cardiac anesthesiology, where you will play a crucial role in patient care.

In this position, you will collaborate with anesthesiologists and other medical professionals to provide high-quality anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional medical services, ensuring patient safety, and enhancing overall surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluate patient medical histories
• Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and safety
• Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and cardiac practices
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Associate degree in Anesthesia or related field
• Certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant or CRNA
• Experience in cardiac anesthesiology preferred
• Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9a-7p or 11a-7p

Weekend call shifts available

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
