**Job Responsibilities:**

The responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Location -Grand Blanc, MI

***HYBRID OPTIONS AVAILABLE--They are preferring a LOCAL candidate to occasionally come in-office once a week.***

1. Provide analytical operations support utilizing a diverse array of data sources. Analyze and interpret data to furnish information that supports management decision-making.
2. Conduct data analysis to identify potential opportunities, develop proposals, and formulate strategies for the development of new programs as well as revisions to existing programs.
3. Identify issues related to cost control and cost management, and propose actionable recommendations for resolution.
4. Prepare and assist in the preparation of various strategic and operational studies and analyses aimed at enhancing system performance, while making recommendations for operational improvements.
5. Ensure the integrity of reporting data by verifying the accuracy of the data provided.
6. Offer assistance and support in the implementation of new systems.
7. Demonstrate comfort in working with large datasets.

**Qualifications:**

- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of five years of prior experience in healthcare finance or healthcare financial analysis is required. This experience should include working with hospital clinical/claim and financial data, managing large databases, and demonstrating expertise in data extraction and analysis utilizing a variety of tools, including Access and Excel.
- Alternatively, candidates may qualify with ten years of relevant experience in healthcare finance or healthcare financial analysis, as outlined above, in lieu of the educational requirement.
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
- One year of experience with healthcare contract management or reimbursement systems, along with an understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Tableau is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL is strongly preferred.
- Cost accounting experience is strongly preferred, with a specific emphasis on Proforma and Cost Accounting experience.
