This job is about leading the Business Solutions Division at a Credit Union, under the guidance of the Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. This division focuses on things like loans, approvals, managing accounts, and customer services. The leader will create and carry out plans that align with the goals of the Credit Union. They will be responsible for strategies related to business development, loan services, and how to manage the accounts.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities:**

**Manage Work:** Organize and manage the work of the Business Solutions Division, which includes business lending and support services. Use resources wisely to reach goals and integrate functions smoothly within the division and the Credit Union. -
**Lead Team:** Work closely with supervisors and staff to develop skilled employees who focus on good customer service. This includes training and everyday management practices that support the Credit Union's goals. -
**Set and Monitor Goals:** Set goals for staff and keep track of their progress. Provide coaching and support for their development, recognize good performance, and address any issues according to Credit Union rules. -
**Develop Plans:** Create budgets and plans for business lending and deposits, including business development and loan management. -
**Encourage Accountability:
** Build a culture where accountability is important, using goals and training to help meet or exceed targets. -
**Suggest Policy Changes:** Recommend changes to policies to leadership when needed. -
**Build Relationships:
** Find and connect with new business members through referrals and direct contact to grow business relationships and maintain connections with brokers and the community. -
**Oversee Loan Processes:
** Manage all aspects of loan origination and servicing, including collections. -
**Create New Products:** Lead the research and development of new business products and services. - **Manage Partnerships:
** Work well with vendors, regulatory bodies, and different departments within the Credit Union to ensure smooth operations. -
**Improve Services:
** Look for ways to improve the processes in the department to provide better service to members. -
**Stay Compliant:
** Keep updated on laws and Credit Union policies to ensure everything is done correctly and safely.
- **Collaborate with Teams:
** Work with executives, marketing, finance, credit risk, and IT teams to define products and models. -
**Promote the Credit Union:
** Represent the Credit Union at community events and special activities.
**Requirements:**
You need a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in business lending or relationship development.
Out of these 5 years, at least 3 years should be in a management role.
