We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant As a Certified Medical Assistant in our clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff. This position is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and delivering exceptional healthcare services to our patients. You will be involved in a variety of medical projects and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our community.
**Education:**
- High school graduation or equivalent (e.g., GED) is required.
- Graduation from a Medical Assistant program accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting organization (such as ABHES or CAAHEP) is required.
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is required.
- Successful completion of the x-ray operator’s examination is required, or the candidate must be willing to undertake the exam as determined by the individual clinic's needs.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently is essential.
- Proficiency in utilizing computer software applications is required.
- The ability to travel using a personal vehicle to various local worksites is required, applicable specifically for Occupational Medicine.
**Required Licensure or Certification:**
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
**Certification Requirements:**
- BLS Certification is mandatory.
