77 Consultants is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dedicated team in Downey. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients before and during surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
• Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to formulate anesthesia care plans
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia and postoperative care
• Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient status
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when needed
• Stay current with best practices in anesthesia and patient care
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

**Coverage Details:** - **Coverage Dates:** Monday to Friday  

- **Provider Allocation:**  - 2 providers from 07:00 to 15:30  - 1 provider from 11:00 to 19:30  

- **Employment Type:** Full-time, consisting of 8-hour shifts.  Considering potential for 4x8 hour shifts weekly as well.

**Setting:** - Hospital environment.

**Shift/Schedule Expectations:** - Full-time coverage, Monday to Friday, detailed as follows:  

- 2 providers for 07:00 to 15:30  - 1 provider for 11:00 to 19:30 - Potential consideration for 4x8 hour work schedules.

**Daily Responsibilities:** - Procedural coverage in the following areas: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology, Gastroenterology, Healthy Pediatrics, Head and Neck, Thoracic Surgery, and Interventional Radiology. 

- Note: Coverage is strictly for the operating room; no responsibilities related to Labor and Delivery.

**Call Schedule:** - No on-call responsibilities required.

**Patient Volume:** - Estimated patient cases vary based on room assignments, ranging from 3 to 8 cases per day.

**Provider and Support Structure:**

- Staffing model includes a 1:3 MD supervision ratio.

**Electronic Medical Record System:**

 Utilization of EPIC for documentation and patient management.

**Certifications:** - Candidates must be Board Certified.
