**Job Shift Information:**
- Work hours: 8, 10, or 12 hours. You can choose to work longer hours if you want.
- No weekend or on-call shifts.
- The number of patients you will work with changes.

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Give anesthesia (medication to prevent pain) for surgeries, childbirth, and other medical or dental procedures.
- Work with patients of all ages, including older adults and children.
- Help manage breathing for patients when needed.
- Lead and support your colleagues in their professional growth.
- Assign tasks to assistive staff respectfully.
- Work with the Anesthesia team and Surgeon to find the best care for patients.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to plan and manage patient care.
- Create a positive work environment by promoting good communication and problem-solving.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and keep records of your findings.
- Collaborate with Anesthesiologists to create and manage anesthesia plans throughout the entire process, from before to after surgery.
- Keep complete and accurate notes of all patient care provided.
- Provide airway management and perform intubations in emergency and non-emergency situations.

**Qualifications Needed:**
- Must be Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) - REQUIRED.
- Must have active Michigan nursing and specialty licenses (must have in hand) - REQUIRED (NO EXCEPTIONS).
- Must have active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED.
- Must have a clean record (no malpractice or license issues) - REQUIRED.
- At least 2 years of experience as a CRNA.
- Must obtain a DEA license and CSR/CDS license before starting.

**Required Certifications:**
- AANA
- ACLS
- BLS
- Board Certified
- PALS

**State License Requirements:**
- Must be licensed to work in Michigan.
