The CT Technologist operates within the mission, values, objectives, procedures, and policies of the Health System. 

This role encompasses the performance of a variety of CT procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, which may necessitate independent judgment. The technologist must demonstrate ingenuity and initiative in executing ionizing radiation procedures utilized for radiological diagnoses. 

Additional responsibilities for designated duties may also be required.

The competencies of a CT Technologist include, but are not limited to, the following:

The candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to exhibit patience, tact, and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with patients, physicians, and other staff members.

 Furthermore, the individual must exhibit flexibility in accommodating schedule changes, demonstrate cooperation and collaboration, and possess a documented ability to perform tasks with speed and proficiency under stress.

The role involves conducting a variety of CT examinations, including neuro, abdomen, and orthopedics, and assisting the Radiologist with invasive procedures.

Qualifications include:

- A minimum of one year of experience is required.

- ARRT certification is required.

- BLS certification is required.

- Certification by the Ohio Department of Health is required.

- Experience in CT is strongly preferred.

- ARRT registry in CT is preferred or must be obtained within one year of hire eligibility.

- Graduation from an AMA-accredited Radiography Technology program or an equivalent program is required.

Certification Requirements:
