The CT Technologist operates within the mission, values, objectives, procedures, and policies of the Health System. This role involves the execution of various CT procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, which may require independent judgment. The technologist is expected to demonstrate creativity and initiative in performing ionizing radiation procedures utilized for radiological diagnoses. Additionally, there may be a need to undertake supplementary responsibilities associated with designated duties.

The individual must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity for exhibiting patience and tact. It is essential to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with patients, physicians, and colleagues. Furthermore, flexibility regarding changes in work schedules is required, alongside a cooperative and collaborative attitude. The ability to perform tasks with speed and proficiency while operating under stress is also essential.

The technologist will be responsible for conducting a diverse array of CT examinations, including neuro, abdominal, orthopedic, and providing assistance to the Radiologist during invasive procedures.

Qualifications for this position are as follows:
- A minimum of one year of experience is required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Certification by the Ohio Department of Health is required.
- Experience in Computed Tomography (CT) is strongly preferred.
- ARRT registry in CT is preferred or must be obtained within one year of eligibility upon hire.
- Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiography Technology program or an equivalent program is required.
