The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography procedures with efficiency and accuracy, utilizing prescribed techniques and protocols. This role includes the production of cross-sectional images essential for the diagnosis of medical conditions. The CT Technologist must possess the ability to interpret physicians' instructions accurately, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate CT scanning equipment, and appropriately position patients.

**Education:**
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology is required.

**Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
- A minimum of two years of prior experience as a CT Technologist is required.
- Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy is essential.

**Licensure and Certification:**
- Registration as an ARRT Certified CT Technologist is mandatory.
- Current BLS Certification is required.

**Certification Requirements:**
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
