**Job Summary for Medical Imager/X-ray/CT:**
The main job of a Medical Imager/X-ray/CT is to:
- Get patients ready and check them before imaging tests.
- Take clear pictures of the human body to help doctors find health problems.
- Explain and carry out imaging tests in a way that patients can understand, considering their age and level of knowledge.
- Check if patients are in pain during tests and inform a doctor if needed.
- Provide care to patients while making sure they are safe and reducing any chance of errors in their health care.
**Ideal Candidate Qualifications:**
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and CT.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not necessary.
- Must keep up with required training and education.
- Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 2 years of experience is preferred, but we are open to training someone for the CT part if they are a good fit.
**Certification Requirements:**
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- A license for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in New Hampshire is required.
**Additional Requirements:**
- Must have the NH MIRT license.
