**Job Description**
- Give anesthesia (numbing medicine) during surgeries for adults and children.
- Help with anesthesia for brain surgeries, making sure to check the patient’s brain health before and after the surgery.
- Do spinal anesthesia and local anesthesia as needed during surgeries.
- Manage breathing and watch the patient's breathing closely during the surgery.
- Work with doctors and surgical teams to give anesthesia safely and effectively.
- Keep a close watch on patients throughout their surgery journey (before surgery, during surgery, and after surgery).
- Use Epic EMR (an electronic medical record system) for all notes and anesthesia records.
- Follow hospital rules, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Work four 10-hour shifts each week.
- No on-call work is required (shifts are scheduled).
- Work in a hospital that is a Level II Trauma Center (handles serious injuries).
- Help with about 50 surgeries each day.
- Work with a team in different operating rooms as needed.
- Be ready to help in emergencies and manage breathing, including intubation if necessary.
**Qualifications**
- Must be a Board Certified CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) - REQUIRED.
- Must have an active license in Michigan - REQUIRED.
- Must have a clean background - REQUIRED.
- Must have ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications through AHA - REQUIRED.
- Must have PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - REQUIRED.
- Must have at least 1 year of CRNA experience - REQUIRED.
- $250 rate cap for pay - REQUIRED.

**State License Requirements**
- Must be licensed in Michigan.
**Additional License Requirements**
- Must have at least 1 year of CRNA experience; new graduates cannot apply.
