We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) . As a CRNA in the field of Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and successful outcomes. You will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from surgical procedures to pain management, making a significant impact on the overall healthcare delivery process.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process.
  • Manage anesthesia equipment and supplies efficiently.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery progress.
  • Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
  • Document patient information and anesthesia administration accurately.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program.
  • Current CRNA certification and state licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Capability to make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.

Position Overview:

  • Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday
  • Call Requirement: 3 weekends per year
  • Cases: Non-OR anesthesia, OR anesthesia, hearts
  • Facility: 27 ORs and 2 CVs
  • Trauma Designation: Level III
  • Medical Direction: 1:4
  • EMR: Epic
  • Board Certification: Required
