We are currently seeking a skilled CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). As a CRNA, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. Your expertise is vital in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgeries, making you an indispensable part of our healthcare team. You will be involved in a variety of anesthesia-related projects, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized anesthesia plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
- Manage and maintain anesthesia equipment.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and follow-up evaluation.
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and medications.
- Document patient information and anesthesia care accurately.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program.
- Current CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 4 or 5 days/week
Night/weekend call is optional
Cases: General, neuro, regional blocks, OB, ortho, GI, GYN
Medical Direction: 1:3-4
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
