Shifts - 12 hour shifts mostly night and some day
Nov. 10th - Dec 6th , possibility of extension
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Perform CT scans and procedures using contrast agents to help doctors see images clearly.
- Take care of patients during complicated exams.
- Use a portable X-ray machine and other X-ray equipment.
- Fix small problems with X-ray and CT machines.
- Follow instructions carefully and talk clearly with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
- Organize and label documents properly and make sure images get to the radiologists quickly.
- Follow rules for radiation safety and report doses correctly.
- Help other technologists to keep things running smoothly.
- Assist the radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs, and give contrast if needed.
**Job Requirements:**
- Certifications in Radiologic Technology (RT), CT, ARRT, and Basic Life Support (BLS) as well as state licenses if required.
- Must be able to work as both a CT Technologist and X-Ray Technologist, performing exams on patients of all ages.
- CT/X-ray Technologists need to plan and complete daily procedures, prioritize tasks, finish exams, and handle paperwork with little supervision and good judgment.
- Show skills in using PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and carry out daily quality checks.
- Good communication skills and excellent patient care skills are important.
- Must be able to use all technical equipment well in the diagnostic area.
- Use radiation protection and safety gear correctly to follow federal and state rules.
- Must have all required vaccinations for hospital jobs and pass health checks, including drug tests and background checks.
