**Job Duties**
To provide clinical nutrition support, care, and information to patients and staff.
**Skills and Abilities**
Possesses proficient skills in the operation of a calculator, computer, PowerPoint, telephone, copy machine, and fax machine.
Able to read and write legibly and engage in conversation in the English language.
Demonstrates regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
**Education/Certifications/Licenses/Degrees**
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
Completion of an approved coordinated undergraduate program, dietetic internship, or an approved master's program accompanied by qualifying work experience is required.
Must be a Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration, with the requirement to obtain registration within one year.
Licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Oregon is required.
Possession of a current Driver's License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days is required.
The individual must have, or be capable of obtaining, an Oregon Food Handler, Food Manager Certification, or ServSafe Certification within 30 days of employment; this is required.
Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred.
Certification as a Diabetic Educator is required.
Certification as an Oncology Nutrition Specialist is required.
Certification as a Nutrition Support Specialist is required.
**Experience**
Three years of experience in clinical or community nutrition is required.
**State License Requirements**
Oregon.
