Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP)**

**Contract Duration:** Immediate start for 3 months, with potential for extension -
**Practice Setting:** Outpatient clinic
**Work Schedule:**
- **Hours:** 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility for Saturday coverage as needed.
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Manage a diverse patient population within family medicine, including:
- Conducting physical examinations
- Women's health assessments
- Chronic disease management (notably hypertension and diabetes)
- Addressing same-day urgent care issues (injuries, acute illnesses)
- Preference for candidates with experience in family medicine; adult-only experience may be considered.
- Duties also include responding to patient messages, managing lab results, and medication refills.
**On-Call Requirements:** None
**Patient Load:** - Average patient volume is estimated at 20-22 patients per day.
**Team Composition:** - Robust support staff including RNs, MAs, and LVNs.
**Electronic Medical Record System:** - Proficient use of EPIC is required; candidates must have recent (within the past 1-2 years) experience with this system.
**Certification Requirements:**
- Board Certification, BLS certification (AHA), and an active DEA registration are mandatory.
- An active Oregon nursing license is also required.
