**Opportunity Overview for Gastroenterology NP/PA Position**
**Start Date:** Ideal start in July, with flexibility for August. *
*Provider Type:** Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
**Specialty:** Gastroenterology
**Daily Shift:** Standard shifts of 8 hours.
**Assignment Duration:** Initial engagement approved through October 1, 2026, with potential for extension if necessary.
**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, within a clinic setting.
**Privileges Required:** Both clinic and hospital privileges.
**Care Setting:** Combination of inpatient and outpatient services.
**Inpatient Facility Details:** 253 beds available.
**Call Requirement:** None. **Rounding and Admissions:**
No rounding or admissions responsibilities.
**Patient Demographics:** Adult patients aged 18 and older.
**Average Patient Load:** Approximately 16 patients per day in the clinic.
**Collaboration:** The provider will not work solo; they will collaborate with Gastroenterology MDs and other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within the practice.
**Licensure Requirements:**
- **Active Licensure:** A valid Washington state license is mandatory at the time of application.
- **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- **EMR System:** Must be proficient in EPIC.
**Credentialing Timeline:** Anticipated credentialing process duration of 30 to 60 days.
