This full-time, on-site position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading medical practice specializing in advanced imaging and interventional procedures.
As an Interventional Radiology Physician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions using state-of-the-art imaging technology. Your expertise will impact patient outcomes positively, as you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. We focus on professional development and continuous learning in a supportive environment.
**Work Schedule:** - 7 days on, 7 days off - Shift hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with evening call responsibilities
**Clinical Responsibilities:**
- Blend of inpatient and outpatient interventional procedures
- Opportunities to cultivate subspecialty interests in areas such as oncology, pulmonary embolism, women's health, etc.
**Technology and Support:**
- Access to advanced interventional technologies, including ablation, Y-90 microsphere therapy, thrombectomy, and prostate artery embolization
- 1:2 call rotation - Support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
**Qualifications:** - Must possess a U.S. medical degree or a foreign equivalent
- Board eligible or board certified within five years post-training completion
- Completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology followed by an accredited fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology
- Subspecialty Certification from the American Board of Radiology in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, or CAQ from the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, or equivalent certification recognized by the American Board of Radiology - Eligible for or already holding an unrestricted medical license in Michigan and a Controlled Substance License.
