**Job Specific Details and Responsibilities:**

- Effectively engage in patient care for diverse populations by initiating, executing, and completing assigned nursing duties.

- Deliver patient care based on careful assessment of individual conditions, employing clinical judgment to determine the appropriate sequence of procedures and treatments, while accurately documenting relevant patient data.

- Observe and assess patients' needs for care, which includes medication administration, equipment-assisted interventions, and education for both patients and their families.

- Administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous) and carry out treatments in accordance with established protocols and policies.

- Identify urgent or emergent clinical situations, collaborate with the RN and/or MD/DO, and implement appropriate emergency interventions as required.

- Assist in complex diagnostic tests and specialized procedures by preparing patients, supporting diagnostic examinations, managing specialized instruments and equipment, and monitoring patient status throughout all phases of the procedure.

- Provide orientation for peers and support staff regarding unit protocols, skills, and standards of nursing practice. - Incorporate principles of a healthy work environment that enhance patient care delivery, facilitate patient and family education, and promote staff satisfaction.

- Perform as a Practical Nurse, executing patient care and nursing administrative functions for inpatients in compliance with established guidelines and standards.

- Continuously monitor and document age-appropriate physiological parameters.

- Facilitate new patient orientation within the clinical or hospital setting.

- Assist in patient admissions, discharges, check-ins, and transfers as required.

- Deliver personalized patient education on relevant topics, focusing on preventive healthcare and health maintenance.

- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic tests, examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures, including end-of-life care.

- Execute designated components of medical examinations, treatment protocols, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical procedures.

- Accurately document treatments performed and monitor observed reactions.

**Schedule:** - Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, consisting of a 9-hour shift including a 1-hour lunch break, not exceeding 40 hours a week. There are no requirements for holiday shifts, weekend work, or on-call duties.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:** Hold a certificate from an accredited nursing program (community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational) recognized by the appropriate state agency, accredited by either the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time of program completion. - 

**Experience:** Minimum of three years of practical or vocational nursing experience post-graduation.

- **Licensure:** Maintain a current and unrestricted LPN License from any state. - 

**Life Support Certification:** Possess a valid ARC or AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification. - 

**Security Clearance:** Ability to successfully pass a government background check for security clearance.
