**Job Responsibilities and Tasks:**
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Start and finish your tasks to help take care of different patients.
- Provide care based on what each patient needs. Use your judgment to choose the right order of treatments and correctly see and report important patient information.
- Watch and listen to patients to understand their needs for care, including medicine, help with equipment, and educating patients and their families.
- Prepare and give prescribed medicines (like pills, creams, shots, or IVs) and perform treatments following our rules and guidelines.
- Recognize when patient care situations are urgent. Get help from a registered nurse or doctor, and start emergency actions if needed. - Help with complex tests or special treatments. This includes getting the patient ready, assisting during the examination, using special tools or equipment, and watching the patient’s condition before, during, and after the procedure.
- Help new team members learn about our unit's rules, practices, and care standards.
- Promote a healthy work environment to improve patient care, educate patients and their families, and ensure team satisfaction.
**Schedule:** - Monday to Friday, working 9 hours between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. - No work on weekends or holidays.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:** You must graduate from an accredited nursing program from a college or vocational school approved by the state and an organization like the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA).
- **Experience:** At least 1 year of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) after graduation. -
**Licensure:** You must have a current, valid license to practice as an LVN/LPN. -
**Life Support Certification:** You need to have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC). -
**Certification:** You need to complete a hearing conservation course and have a Spirometry Testing Certificate approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). You must finish these within 12 months of starting the job. -
**Security:** You must be able to pass a government background check/security clearance.
