**Job Responsibilities and Tasks:**

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

- Taking care of a diverse group of patients by performing various tasks as needed.

- Providing care tailored to each patient's situation, making thoughtful decisions on how to proceed with treatments, and accurately noting important information about the patients.

- Observing and responding to patients' needs, which might involve administering medication, using special equipment, and educating patients and their families about care.

- Preparing and giving medications (in different forms like pills, creams, injections) and conducting treatments according to established guidelines.

- Recognizing urgent medical situations, reaching out to registered nurses or doctors for help, and following directions for emergency care.

- Assisting with complex medical tests or procedures, which will involve getting the patient ready, helping during the examination, managing specialized tools or equipment, and monitoring the patient's condition before, during, and after the process.

- Guiding new team members and other staff about unit policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Promoting a positive work environment that leads to better healthcare for patients, education for them and their families, and satisfaction for employees.

**Work Schedule:**

- Monday to Friday, with 9-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. - No work on weekends or holidays.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:** You should have graduated from a recognized nursing program (like a community college or vocational school) that is approved by the state and accredited by a recognized accreditation body.

- **Experience:**

At least 1 year of experience working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) after graduation. - 

**Licensure:** You must have a current, active nursing license to practice as an LVN/LPN from any state. -

 **Life Support Certification:

** You need to have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC). -

**Security Clearance:** You must be able to pass a government background check.
