**Job Responsibilities:**
As part of this job, you will:
- Help take care of patients with different needs.
- Complete the care you need to give based on each patient’s condition. You will decide the best way to do procedures and treatments and make sure to report and record important information about the patients.
- Pay attention to what patients need, including help with medicine, special equipment, and educating patients and their families.
- Prepare and give medications (like pills or shots) and do treatments following the rules and procedures already in place.
- Recognize if a patient needs urgent help and ask a nurse or doctor for assistance. You will start emergency care if needed.
- Assist with complex tests and procedures, including getting the patient ready, helping during the test, and watching the patient’s condition before, during, and after the procedure.
- Help new coworkers learn about the unit’s policies, procedures, skills, and standards.
- Promote a healthy work environment to improve patient care, educate patients and their families, and increase staff satisfaction.
**Work Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday, working 9 hours between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
- No work on weekends or holidays.
**Minimum Requirements:**

**Education:** You must graduate from an accredited nursing program approved by the right state agency. -
**Experience:** At least 1 year of experience as an LVN/LPN after graduation. -
**License:** You need a current, active license to practice as an LVN/LPN from any state. -
**Certification:** You must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC. -
**Security:** You need to be able to pass a government background check/security clearance.
