**Core Responsibilities:**

**Patient Care Execution:** Initiate, perform, and complete designated tasks relevant to the care of diverse patient populations. - 

**Clinical Judgment:** Assess patient conditions to determine the appropriate sequence of procedures and treatments, ensuring accurate identification, documentation, and reporting of pertinent patient data. - 

**Patient Needs Assessment:**

 Observe and anticipate the care requirements of patients, including administering medications, facilitating equipment-assisted care, and providing education to patients and their families.

- **Pharmacological Administration:** Accurately prepare and administer prescribed medications via oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous routes in alignment with established protocols.

- **Emergency Response:** Identify urgent and emergent patient care scenarios, escalating to Registered Nurses (RNs) or Medical Doctors (MDs/DOs) as necessary, while initiating appropriate emergency interventions as directed.

- **Diagnostic Procedure Support:** Assist in complex diagnostic tests and specialized procedures by preparing patients, aiding in examinations, handling specialized instruments and equipment, and monitoring patient conditions pre-, during, and post-procedure.

- **Mentorship and Orientation:** Facilitate the onboarding of peers and ancillary personnel regarding unit policies, procedural protocols, and standards of nursing practice.

- **Work Environment Integration:** Implement principles of a healthy work environment to enhance patient care delivery, educate patients and their families, and promote employee satisfaction.

**Work Schedule:**

- Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM - No weekend or holiday shifts

  - No on-call duties or callbacks

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:** Graduate from an accredited nursing program (community college, junior college, university, or vocational) recognized by the appropriate state agency and accredited by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) or another accepted accrediting body. - 

**Experience:** A minimum of two years of nursing experience, which may include clinical hours from nursing school. - **Licensure:** Possession of an active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license. - 

**Board Certification:** Not applicable. - 

**Life Support Certifications:** Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or ARC. - 

**Background Check:** Capability to pass a government background investigation and obtain necessary security clearance for government positions.
