### CORE Responsibilities:

- Execute and complete designated responsibilities in the provision of care across diverse patient demographics.

- Carry out patient care tasks tailored to individual conditions, exercising clinical judgment in prioritizing and sequencing procedures and treatments. Accurately assess, document, and convey pertinent patient data.

- Monitor, assess, and respond proactively to the evolving care requirements of patients, including medication administration, equipment-assisted interventions, and patient/family educational support.

- Prepare and administer prescribed pharmacological treatments (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous) in compliance with established protocols and practices. - Identify acute or critical care scenarios, promptly seek support from Registered Nurses (RNs) and/or Medical Doctors (MDs/DOs), and initiate requisite emergency actions as directed.

- Execute ancillary functions for intricate diagnostic evaluations and specialized procedures which encompass patient preparation, support during diagnostic examinations, handling specialized instrumentation or equipment, and monitoring the patient's clinical status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.

- Facilitate the orientation of peers and auxiliary personnel to unit-specific policies, procedural standards, and established practices.

- Promote principles of a healthy work environment to enhance patient care delivery, facilitate education for patients and their families, and improve overall employee satisfaction.

### Work Schedule:

- Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts within the timeframe of 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

- No weekend or holiday shifts. - No on-call responsibilities or callbacks.

### Minimum Qualifications:

**Education:** Completion of a nursing program from an accredited community college, junior college, university, or vocational institution recognized by the appropriate state authority and accredited by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) or an equivalent body.   - 

**Experience:** A minimum of one year of clinical experience within the past two years.

**License:** Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure.

**Board Certification:** Not applicable.

**Life Support Certifications:** Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or ARC.

**Security Clearance:** Ability to pass a government background investigation and secure government security clearance.
