 This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care to expectant mothers and their families in a supportive medical practice environment.

As a Locum CNM, you will play a crucial role in managing prenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care, ensuring a positive childbirth experience for patients. You will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care and support to women through various stages of their reproductive health.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care to patients
• Conduct routine gynecological exams and screenings
• Educate patients on reproductive health and family planning
• Monitor patients during labor and deliver infants
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary

Requirements

• Active RN license and certification as a Nurse Midwife
• At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
• Knowledge of current practices in obstetric and gynecological care
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Current certification in BLS and NALS
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call required

Daily Volume: 18 patients

Support Staff: MDs

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
