As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care while contributing to the overall success of our medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients before and during surgical procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses throughout the surgery
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons and surgical teams
- Evaluate patients preoperatively and develop anesthesia care plans
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
- Document anesthesia care and patient outcomes accurately
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education
Requirements
- Active Nurse Anesthetist certification
- Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Proven experience as a CRNA in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3 hours per day
No call requirement
Setting: Remote
Daily Volume: ~100 over reads (25-30 ultrasounds, remaining are plain film)
Must be board-certified
