This contract position offers the opportunity to work on-site, providing critical anesthesia care in a dynamic healthcare setting.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthesia services, collaborating closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Consult with surgeons and healthcare teams to develop anesthesia plans
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Evaluate patients' medical histories to anticipate anesthetic complications
- Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administered and patient responses
- Comply with all medical and safety protocols
Requirements
- Active RN license and CRNA certification
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an anesthesia setting
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications
Schedule: 8 and 10-hour shifts
No call requirement
Case Types: General surgery (including robotic), GYN, urology, orthopedics, ENT, neuro (spine and cranial), vascular and endoscopy

EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
