As a Locum CRNA, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care and support to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring patient safety and comfort, and you will collaborate closely with surgeons and medical staff to achieve optimal outcomes. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and provide perioperative care to patients
- Assess patients' medical histories and conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations
- Develop individualized anesthetic plans in collaboration with the surgical team
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures
- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patients for recovery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families about anesthesia and care processes
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, specific dates
No call required
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Volume: 3-5 cases
Independent practice
Case Types: Cosmetic, plastic, general, and bariatric surgeries
Must be board-certified
