 This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our anesthesiology department within the medical practice industry, providing high-quality care to patients during surgical procedures.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and comfort by administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout their surgical experience. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and other medical staff to develop effective anesthesia plans, adapting to each patient's specific needs.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery
  • Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop anesthesia care plans
  • Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia methods
  • Provide postoperative care and pain management solutions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Stay updated on best practices and advancements in anesthesiology
  • Adhere to safety and health regulations in the clinical setting

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
  • Current CRNA certification and state licensure
  • Strong clinical skills in anesthesia administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and monitoring
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care
  • Experience in a medical practice or hospital setting preferred

Schedule: 7a-3:30p

11 anesthesia rooms

Case Types: general, cardiac, neuro, and orthopedics

1:4 medical supervision

Charting System: Epic, iPro, GE

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
