This on-site, contract position offers a unique chance to contribute to our anesthesiology department within a thriving medical practice.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia care for various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality medical services and enhancing patient outcomes. 

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop anesthesia care plans
• Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative care
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in anesthesia
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust anesthesia accordingly
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and recovery
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and related technologies

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Current CRNA certification and licensure
• Strong clinical skills and experience in anesthesiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and patient needs
• Prior experience in a medical practice setting is a plus
• Level I Trauma

Flexible Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts

No call required

Facility: 500 beds

Cases: OB, endo, neuro, EP lab; no cardiac

Medical Direction: 3:1

EMR: Epic
