As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the overall effectiveness of our anesthesiology services. Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care provided
  • Manage post-anesthesia recovery for patients
  • Stay current with best practices in anesthesia and patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current certification as a CRNA
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Experience in a variety of surgical settings is a plus

Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday

No call shifts

Setting: OR and outpatient surgery center

Patient Volume: 10 per day

23 total ORs

Cases: Bread & butter, GI, plastics, orthopedics, gyn

Must be comfortable with high-acuity GI cases

Care team model, medically directed

EMR: Epic
