This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative, on-site environment within the medical practice industry.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to a supportive and patient-centered care atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe anesthesia practices
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations
- Provide effective communication and education to patients regarding anesthesia
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia care
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesia
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
- Current CRNA certification and state licensure
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
- Experience in a variety of surgical settings is a plus
Schedule: Weeknights (5p-7a) or 24-hour weekend shifts
In-house coverage
OB/epidural experience is required
Will work independently
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
