As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia and monitoring patients during surgical procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Assess patients' medical histories and determine appropriate anesthesia plans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Manage anesthesia-related emergencies effectively
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and post-operative care
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and best practices
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and CRNA certification
- Experience in administering anesthesia in various surgical settings
- Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Schedule: 7a-3p or 7a-5:30p
Beeper call shifts available
4 ORs, 2 endo rooms
Caseload: General, ortho, ENT, endo, OB/GYN, peds
Blocks required
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
