As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
- Provide preoperative assessments and postoperative care
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Assist in the management of anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and address their concerns
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in anesthesia practice
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills
- Current state licensure to practice as a CRNA
Level I Trauma
Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts per week, 11a-9p
Daily Census: 10 cases
Diverse caseload
No hearts, but will see cath lab, TAVR, and EP
Care Team Model: Medically directed
2+ years of experience with Level I trauma required
Must be board-certified
